JLA CLASSIFIED #7 cover

JLA CLASSIFIED #7

The gang's all together again---in Hell! Guy Gardner and Power Girl fight their way through hordes of demons to rescue the so-called Super Buddies, but their inability to get along for two seconds may be the bigger obstacle to saving the day. Meanwhile, the surprise guest from last issue starts to cause more trouble without even batting an eye, and the Demon helps (in his own way, naturally) the Super Buddies to find a way out of Hell. By Giffen, DeMatteis, Maguire, and Rubinstein.

SPIDER-MAN: BREAKOUT #2 cover

SPIDER-MAN: BREAKOUT #2

Continuing from the first story arc of the New Avengers, Spider-Man has taken it upon himself to take on the villains that escaped from the raft, most of whom were from his own rogues gallery. Poor Spidey, always trying to take the weight of the world on his shoulders---not the smartest plan when he's now a card-carrying member of the Avengers. Captain America lends a helping hand as two groups of villains, the U-Foes and Crossfire's Crew, make their move toward a common goal. Captain America's help isn't quite enough, however, and Spidey must look to some less-than-noble sources for a little extra help. Writer Tony Bedard piles on the action and intrigue, making this book every bit as entertaining as the current Amazing Spider-Man run, if not just a bit more. Art by Manuel Garcia and Raul Fernandez.
