UNCANNY X-MEN #462 cover

UNCANNY X-MEN #462

Gratuitous "House of M" crossover be damned! This is the most fun Claremont's X-Men has been since his return to the book, or maybe it's just that Peter Milligan's less-than-engaging run on the adjective-less X-Men serves to make Claremont's typically convoluted plots seem that way. Whatever the reason, Claremont and artist Alan Davis teaming up once more to reestablish Brian Braddock as the one and only Captain Britain in the wake of the far-reaching effects of the House of M makes for a great story. Fans of the old Captain Britain mythos will especially not want to miss this one, with appearances by classic characters like Roma, Saturnyne, James Jaspers, and the Captain Britain Corps. More fun than you can shake an omniversal majestrix at!
