From IGN: It's been far too long since Lois Lane has had a comic to call her own. Even DC's most recent effort, Superwoman, opened with the death of the New 52 version of Lois and wound up focusing on Lana Lang instead. But with Lois taking on an ever more prominent role in Brian Bendis' Superman books and in the Event Leviathan miniseries, the time has never been better to give Lois the solo spotlight. Even more critically, DC has finally found the ideal creative team to bring that series to life.
While Greg Rucka and Mike Perkins build on the foundation established in Bendis' work - with Lois recently having returned to Earth and now spending most of her time feverishly working out of a hotel room - this 12-issue series is clearly meant to be a standalone project. Tonally and stylistically, the book doesn't share much in common with Tom King and Mitch Gerads' Mister Miracle, but it may come to fill that void in DC's lineup all the same.
