From AIPT: One thing this Captain Marvel run has made clear is that Thompson is a master at the ending twist, and the one in this issue is just palpable. Seeing Amora pop up is exciting, creating some juicy drama due to her connection to Ove and what Carol plans to do with the magic she learns from her. Captain Marvel #28 is another solid issue in a strong series, featuring good art and great writing. While magic doesn’t seem like something that will be sticking around for Carol very long, it sure seems like a fun ride for now.
