What is Final Order Cut-off

FOC is an industry term for Final Order Cut-off. Final Order Cut-off is the LAST deadline before the publishers actually print the comics. It’s an opportunity for retailers to increase or decrease orders and take advantage of last minutes additions like SECOND PRINTINGS, VARIANT COVERS and EXCLUSIVE COVERS.

If you’ve ever noticed some books and covers will disappear off of the checklist, it’s because they’ve sold out.

Want 30 copies of Artgerm’s variant cover on Supergirl? No problem! Through FOC, Zeus can offer these limited covers, printings and GUARANTEE the comics you want in the quantities you want. Plus many covers and comics on FOC are items Zeus doesn’t carry in-store.

FOC items typically ship four weeks later but estimated dates are listed. FOC is also a prepay system only. Uncompleted FOC orders will not be placed.

Zeus’ FOC option updates weekly. It goes live every Saturday morning and closes every Monday at 5pm.
